| Protect your business with Real Time CCTV monitoring and Audio-to-Site for immediate crime deterrence.
How it works
Our CCTV monitoring service is available exclusively on our innovative NetRoster platform. With our PC at the centre of your CCTV network, all the pictures from all the cameras are recorded to the hard disk. But our PC is more than just a hard disk recorder - it's also a web server!
You can log in to NetRoster yourself through a standard Web browser or grant any user that you want access to the system - you or any authorised user can have a look at what's going on whenever you want and wherever you are.
When any motion or heat is sensed on a picture, live feeds from your site start showing up on our screens as well as the previous 10 seconds leading up to the motion-sensors being activated. The NetRoster platform gives us full control of the cameras remotely, so we can pan, tilt and zoom the cameras as required to get the best possible pictures.
Once we get an activation on our screens, our control room staff can determine what to do
- Call to the site and tell the person to go away under threat of calling the police and avoid the incident in the first place
- Take the designated action based on the site instructions as set out by you, and/or
- Call the appropriate emergency services.
Either way, we will immediately start recording the audio and video on our servers too - so now all the high-quality digital evidence is in at least two places. If we did warn the person away, then we'll send you an email to let you know. You can then review the video and audio at your leisure.
If you want, you can add your contact details to the incident instructions so we contact you whenever there is an activation. And you can change those instructions online whenever you want - so a colleague can be "on-call" when you go on holiday, for example.
CCTV Monitoring - 24x7 – Financial Benefits
The average cost to a small business of a break-in is over £4,000. If you add in the losses from disruptions to operation or even cessation of services as well as the increase in insurance premiums then that figure goes up to over £8,000 per incident!
Compare manned guarding vs. Monitored CCTV
Clearly, having a guard is a good idea, but even this can be costly.
Guard at £8 per hour for a 12 hour shift 5 days a week, four weeks a month plus 2 days at the weekends = £3,456 a month
Guard at weekends only = 48 hours (Sat and Sunday) at £8 ph = £1,536 a month
Monitored CCTV – Saving over £14,000 pa compared to a weekend only guard.
Guide pricing for a standard 4 camera: Installation £2,500* Monthly fee £85*
Payback in less than 10 weeks! – Saving £’000’s compared to a guard
*Guide pricing only. A detailed quotation will be made following a site survey to determine your exact requirements
Want to reduce your insurance premiums and excess charges?
Many companies don’t bother to report break-ins as they fear the increased cost of the premiums. The average cost of a break-in is over £8,000 – so at less than £3,300 pa for the first year cost of a typical system and under £800 pa ongoing for our 24 x 7 service - preventing just one break-in a year keeps you in credit financially.
What's more, Insurance companies look at our preventative CCTV provision as a way of reducing the risk of and incident in the first place, and the cost of an incident if one does occur. Discounts of between 5% and 15% in cost of premiums are now fairly standard.
The first step is to organise a free no-obligation site survey . We'll come to you, work out what we can use, re-use and will have to supply new. Then we'll provide you with a free no-obligation quotation. |
